Healthy History Walks April 2012

Get fit while learning about the history of the Church Street and Paddington areas!

Experienced City of Westminster Guide , John Thei, will be leading a morning and an afternoon local history walk on Saturday 14th April 2012 at 10.30am and 2.30pm. Starting from Church Street library the route will take about two hours to complete. With a keen interest in the history of the Church Street and Paddington areas of Westminster, John has chosen a route that includes stops at the site of the old Yorkshire Stingo, Paddington Basin and the Grand Union Canal.

Anyone with an interest in coming on the walk can book a place by either visiting Church Street Library or calling 020 7641 1300 and asking for Church Street Library. Booking is necessary to avoid disappointment. The cost of the walk is £5.00 (£4.00 concessions, Children Free), payable on the day. This will include refreshments at the library after the walk.
